As we all prepare to celebrate Christmas and look forward to a New Year, I want to say how excited Caroline and I are about moving to be with you.  I trust that by now you will know that I will be licensed at All Saints' on Wednesday 10th April (I had hoped it would be a bit earlier, but various diaries had to be co-ordinated).  I will be finishing in Ealing on Sunday March 10th and we will move to the Vicarage in Upper Bucklebury later that week.  Obviously, I can’t do anything officially until I am licensed but once we have moved in do feel free to pop by and say hello.  Caroline and I want to get to know you all but realise that may take a little while so please do bear with us!

We plan to be joining you at the Congregational Tea on 28th January and will be coming up to sort the Vicarage out in the weeks before we move, so you may well see us around.  Our prayer is that 2024 will be a year of new beginnings for us all and, as I join as your Rector that we discern together all that God has in store for us in the coming years.

May God bless you all richly as you celebrate the birth of Jesus who came to bring light and hope into our world.
